TERRY MAKES CHELSEA RETURN AS COACH

Chelsea legend John Terry has returned to the West London club in a coaching capacity after it was announced at the end of last month that the former skipper will start work with the academy in a consultancy role as from the start of this year.

John Terry attained legendary status at Chelsea after winning 17 trophies. He spent 19 years in the Chelsea first team and has been without a coaching job since leaving Aston Villa at the start of this season. The Stamford Bridge favourite quit his role as the Villa assistant manager to concentrate on his managerial career.

IPSWICH: TERRY, LAMPARD UNDER CONSIDERATION

Chelsea legends John Terry and Frank Lampard are reportedly under consideration for the vacant managerial job at Ipswich Town who are presently in League One, the third tier of club football in England. This is according to the report from the stables of English publication Football Insider which revealed that the Tractor Boys have reached out to Lampard to know if the job will appeal to the 43-year-old.

Ex-Chelsea midfielder Lampard has been linked with a lot of clubs since his last job at Stamford Bridge. The retired England international was previously linked with the managerial job at clubs such as Celtic in the Scottish Premiership, Newcastle United in the Premier League, Bournemouth in the English Championship, Aston Villa in the Premier League, Swansea City in the English Championship and many more.

TERRY REVEALS TOUGHEST UNITED OPPONENT

Chelsea legend John Terry has revealed the toughest Manchester United player he faced during his playing career. John Terry talked about his toughest United opponent while conducting a question and answer (Q & A) session on Twitter. According to him, ex-international teammate Wayne Rooney is his toughest opponent at Manchester United during his playing career.

John Terry played over 700 times for Chelsea before he left the club on a free transfer at the end of the 2016/17 season. He left the Blues at the end of his contract to join Aston Villa on a free transfer. He spent one season at Villa as a player before taking up the assistant manager role.
