Chelsea captain John Terry says that the club are feeling highly motivated to win the four trophies on offer this season. No English club has managed to win the famous quadruple. Only Manchester United have come close and they won three major titles in a single season.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho refused to get caught up in the talk surrounding John Terry’s future after saying that the club still has a lot of time to decide on their captain.

The defender has revealed that his improved form is because of the fight to stay at the club.

This was an extraordinary defensive performance from Chelsea, as they did not allow Arsenal to create much chances over the course of the match. This performance was necessary for Chelsea given that they have been conceding a lot of goals of late. This has resulted in losses against teams in the lower half of the table like Stoke City.

He has attributed this return to form to manager José Mourinho who has came to the club for a second spell. Terry enjoyed a great relationship with Mourinho during the first spell. He became one of the best defenders in the world during this period.

Chelsea defender John Terry would have been happy to see the return of José Mourinho to the club, but the latest revelation by the Chelsea manager may not have been such happy news for the Chelsea captain.
