Aside from the support they are getting from their fans, Chelsea are also getting massive support from their legends who have so far been tipping them to win the league title this season having last done so a few years ago. The likes of Didier Drogba, Ashley Cole, and Ricardo Carvalho have already pushed the Blues and chosen them as their title favorites this season but they are not the only ones who have done that so far. Club legend John Terry has also joined the train and has now urged the Blues to do everything within their capacity to make sure that the league crown ends up at Stamford Bridge at the end of this new season.
Former club captain Terry claims that the Blues are only second to Manchester City in terms of squad depth but also added that since they already defeated the Cityzens some weeks ago to lift the UEFA Champions League title, then they are capable of winning the league this season. Terry said that the Blues already have a wealth of talented players in their squad and that the arrival of Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan this summer sums up the fact that they are indeed strong challengers for the title of this campaign.
The former captain hailed the impact of manager Thomas Tuchel in the team since his arrival and said that it is not a mistake that they have won both the Champions League and the Super Cup titles under the German manager and has credited it to hard work and presence of quality players in the squad.
Regardless of what Terry thinks, Chelsea do have to be wary of the two Manchester clubs who have also added players to their squad, without also forgetting Liverpool, regardless of the fact that they have so far not done much business in this summer's transfer window.
